Quality Assurance Department Policy / College of Nursing – Al-Hilla University
- Given the significant responsibilities assigned to the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, and to ensure that these tasks are clear and executable within the available resources, it is essential to establish a plan or roadmap that can be adhered to within the timelines set by the Quality Assurance Department. This plan aims to achieve the specified objectives, which include:

Holding regular meetings with the Dean of the College and department members to review the department’s plan, discuss updates, address weaknesses, and strengthen strengths for continuous improvement.
•
Organizing workshops, seminars, and lectures related to the units and committees of the department, which include:Evaluating the electronic performance of staff.
Ensuring the quality accreditation of educational and clinical laboratories.
•
Facilitating the execution of the department’s tasks and duties.
•
Implementing the university’s strategic plan program.
•
Meeting the requirements for international classifications approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in collaboration with the Classification Unit.
•
Monitoring the annual evaluation of electronic performance for all staff members of the College of Nursing, including faculty and employees.
•
Achieving the requirements for the Iraqi classification of the quality of Iraqi universities.
•
Monitoring and implementing the quality requirements for educational and clinical laboratories.
•
Striving to obtain accreditation for the specialized programs of Iraqi nursing colleges.
•
Ensuring that the job descriptions and task distribution for department staff are clear and publicly announced.
•
Preparing and completing a comprehensive database for college members and continuously updating it, in addition to updating the self-assessment study based on annual developments.
•
Collecting and documenting data related to the ministerial form F0090406 (Quality Classification for Evaluating the Performance of Scientific Departments) and the ministerial form F0090407 (Quality Classification for Institutional Performance Evaluation).
•
Updating the self-assessment study for the college based on the standards of the Iraqi Nursing Colleges Accreditation Council, prepared by the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority.
•
Following up on the implementation of the improvement plan outlined in the self-assessment study.
•
Monitoring the completion of the study plan forms, academic program descriptions, and curriculum descriptions.
•
Monitoring the evaluation process of faculty members and curricula by students.
•
Monitoring the evaluation of electronic or paper performance for college staff according to a timeline set by the ministry.
•
Providing necessary supplies and preparing suitable plans for transitioning to electronic activities in line with the directives of the ministry and the university.
